In times when \"Me\" ring out in corporate board rooms and halls of Congress, the unselfish \"You, You, You\" actions of Mr. Hayne from London inspire us all! Everyone of my children and grandchildren know this memorial in downtown Fort Worth and the story of Mr. Hayne.

Darrell Gene Moon
Darrell,
I didn\'t know about you until I was 21 years old. Or, as most parents would say old enough to know better. I found out that you were a man of great courage who had desire and strength to protect others. I wish that we knew each other when you were with us. I feel that you are with me at bad times and I see your face through my children\'s eyes. I wish that I had more of your family\'s information to know more about the father I never knew. You have 3 beautiful grandchildren, 2 boys and 1 little princess that we call \"sassy\". I love you and you rest in peace sir!
Your son, Jeremy Rogers

Alan F. Chick
I was privileged to know Alan from the time he and his family lived in New Jersey. He was a good guy and a heck of an athlete in his junior high days, baseball (pitching) and bowling in particular. He had a seriousness and integrity about him even back then, so I\'m not surprised to see the commendations and praise he garnered, modestly, in public service. God bless Alan, and bless his family. One good man, my friend Alan, -- just a very, very good man.

Frank Massingale
Frank Massengale was my greatgrandfather. He was one of the first firefighters of Ft. Worth. He was primarily a driver, first the horse drawn units, then trucks. He always believed he and his horses could beat any of the orginal fire trucks. One interesting note, he was killed on the corner of Bryce St. and Montgomery. His son, his grandson, and myself were named Bryce after William Bryce, an early Mayor of Ft Worth.
